This Friday morning (26), the Federal Police will sign a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) with the Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District and the DF Civil Police to share investigation technologies against cyber crimes.
The main focus of the action must be to repress and prevent the exploitation and sharing of material containing child sexual abuse and the commission of bank fraud via the internet.
This week, the PF carried out a national mega-operation with 141 search and seizure warrants and arrested 60 child abusers online. Those investigated were found based on these tools that are now shared.
According to the PF, the agreement will also enable the development of other projects and joint actions, in addition to the training of agents and the development of new technologies to combat crimes in virtual environments.
The new superintendent of the Federal Police in the DF, José Roberto Peres, the Secretary of Public Security of the DF, Sandro Avelar, and the general delegate of the Civil Police of the DF, José Werick de Carvalho, will sign the agreement.
The director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, and the director of combating cybercrime at the PF, Otávio Margonari Russo, will also be present at the ceremony.
