Pfizer informs EU there will be a delay in vaccine shipments, Italy extends lockdown

Pfizer has told EU countries that there will be a delay in vaccine shipments against COVID-19, but that deliveries will be updated at the end of March. The doses, made in collaboration with BioNTech, are administered in Europe together with Moderna’s vaccines.

Italy, the third largest country in the eurozone, has extended his confinement until the end of March. Germany is considering tightening restrictions amid a surge in cases.
