Pfizergate: The Commission has lost the court case about Ursula von der Lajen to Bourla for Pfizer Vaccines

The EU Court of Justice did not accept the European Commission’s request on Wednesday to be rejected by the New York Times newspaper for access to text messages between Ursula von der Laien and Pfizer Managing Director Albert Bourla on the COVI-19-year-old COV. The New York Times reported that the messages between January 1, 2021 and May 11, 2022, at the height of the pandemic, could shed light on the billions of euros in vaccines. The European Commission had rejected the newspaper’s request, saying von der Lien had not kept the messages to Bourla. The US newspaper then filed a lawsuit against the Commission. As Politico wrote a few hours ago, Wednesday’s verdict for the so -called “pfizergate” is expected to have widespread consequences for how top European Union officials are conducting their “behind closed doors” and may overshadow its second five -year term.
