THE Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced this Thursday (16) the nominees for its 2025 awards. Recognized for being voted exclusively by producers, the union is considered an important barometer for the Oscars, as its nominees and winners tend to be among the main competitors in the Best Film category at the Academy Awards.
As happened with other union awards, “I’m Still Here” was not remembered by voters. Foreign films often face more difficulties to be recognized in these awards, as many members of the creative teams of international productions are not associated with the organizations responsible for the honors.
On the other hand, “Emilia Pérez”, France’s representative at the Oscars, received a nomination, as its producers are associated with the Producers Union of America. Check out the list of nominees:

The awards show has not yet set a date for announcing the winners due to the fires in Los Angeles.
