Phantom wallet has integrated support for Bitcoin and Ordinals

The developers of the non-custodial crypto wallet Phantom announced the integration of the Bitcoin network. They also added support for Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens.

It is reported that Phantom users can buy and sell Bitcoin, transfer and store Ordinals, as well as BRC-20 tokens. The new wallet option is in beta testing, but is already available for use.

“Without Bitcoin there would be no Solana, Ethereum and Web3. We are very pleased that Phantom has begun supporting this network,” the developers said.

Phantom co-founder and CEO Brandon Millman added that the future of digital asset management lies in cross-chain interoperability.

At the beginning of 2022 the project attracted $109 million in Series B funding from venture funds Paradigm, a16z, Solana Ventures, Jump Crypto and others.
