Physical stores will not go away, says Luiza Trajano at South Summit

During the 3rd edition of South Summit Brazil , Luiza Helena Trajano president of the Board of Directors of Magazine Luiza, argued that, even with the advancement of digital commerce, physical retail stores are not likely to go away anytime soon.

Trajano participated in a panel this Thursday morning (21), alongside Tarciana Medeiros president of Banco do Brasil.

During the event — which started later due to the heavy rains that hit Porto Alegre (RS) in the early hours of the morning — both were on the panel “Reframing Retail: How two Brazilian Giants Innovate and Renew” (“Reshaping retail: how two Brazilian giants innovate and renew”, translated from English)

The two spoke about the importance of large companies innovate and renew themselves to remain sustainable in the market .

The 3rd edition of South Summit Brazil will take place until Friday (22) and should bring together more than 24 thousand people in total. The event started last Wednesday (20) and features entrepreneurs, companies, start-ups, investment funds and speakers from more than 50 countries.
