In July 2021, Lorena Dayse , 38 years old, nurse and runner-up of the “MasterChef” program, went from being an amateur cook to running a professional kitchen. open the Piancó Gastronomy its first restaurant in capital of Piauí .
More than that: it launched the first tasting menu in the city. A substantial sequence of half a dozen times and a dozen recipes, combining ingredients and local traditions with research, gluttony and inventiveness.
In practice, in Piancó , the rookie chef shined the spotlight on goat, free-range chicken, sun-dried meat, cashew nuts, green beans, tamarind and shrimp from the Parnaíba Delta. She invited diners to sit down, take off their shoes and feel the energy of the earth. She told them her story, in her own way.
“People were afraid, I almost had to give food to people to have the courage to taste it, but after tasting it, they thanked me”, he recalls. Now, 12 months later, she not only wants customers to celebrate with her, but also wants to present yet another unique menu, “different from what they have already seen at Piancó”.

“I went to São Paulo last month and the job that inspired me the most was Tássia’s, at Nelita. We didn’t even know each other, but I invited her to come cook. So, in the face. And the worst part was that she accepted!”, reveals Lorena.
Correcting: the best thing was that the award-winning colleague accepted. On the 29th, at 8 pm, together they serve a menu in 5 stages, including the goat agnolotti, lemon confit and honeycomb by the guest and the mignon de sol with black macaxeira and fonduta made with coalho cheese from the hostess. Dinner is R$230 and reservations are required.
