A special edition, which marks the return to normality (or almost) and which crosses the 10-year milestone. Here it is Piano City 2021: more than 100 outdoor concerts (including live streaming), in many symbolic places of the city. From the June 25 until Sunday 27.
To inaugurate the tenth edition of the review, organized by the Association Piano City Milan and the Municipality of Milan, at 9 pm on June 25th will be the already nominated for the Grammy Awards Roberto Fonseca, who will lead the audience of the Gallery of Modern Art along a special journey suspended between tradition and modernity, in which Cuban rhythms intertwine beats, retro keyboards and acrobatics.
The festival will continue on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June, a special weekend in which the notes of the pianos will resound from important districts of the city of Milan, passing through splendid places such as the aforementioned Galleria D’Arte Moderna, Triennale Milano, the courtyard of honor of the University of Milan, Volvo Studio Milano, BASE Milano , Chiaravalle Pavilion, urban cultural sea, the Gardens of Via Mosso (at the corner of Via Padova), the Ex Piscina at the Trotter Park, the San Faustino all’Ortica Garden, Cascina Campazzo, the Snai San Siro Hippodrome, the new Gardens of Via Dezza (with the preview of 23 June), the InOltre Foundation in Baranzate.
Four special concerts are also planned at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber in Milan, an initiative promoted together with the Municipality of Milan to celebrate the end of the renovation of the historic Milanese theater which has been closed for 22 years.
Among the artists, Frida Bollani Magoni, Raphael Gualazzi, Vinicio Capossela, Rita Marcotulli, Paolo Jannacci, Giuseppina Torre, Enrico Intra, Leonora Armellini.
