Residents in Rockton, Illinois were ordered to evacuate their homes as fire broke out in a chemical factory.
According to CNN, the fire service ordered her mandatory evacuation for all residents and businesses within a mile of the factory, police said in a Twitter message.
The area is flooded with dense smoke. According to the fire brigade, explosions took place in the factory, however, the 70 workers in the factory were able to leave safely. When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the flames went through the roof and clouds of smoke filled the sky.
According to the page, a firefighter was injured.

Residents of the area reported that successive explosions were heard from the factory.
