Pietro Maso sues Fedez (for one of his songs): “It damages the honor of others”

The complaints, in the Fedez house, are not new. The latest in chronological order comes from Pietro Maso, the man convicted in 1991 for killing his parents with the aim of acquiring the inheritance that, today, is found in the guise of accuser. The reason for the dispute is a verse from the song No Game-Freestyle published by Fedez last June in which, at a certain point, the rapper sings: «Delicate flow, satin stones, greetings to family from Pietro Maso, life always bars you with your head held high as when a nosebleed comes out».

The summons from Maso, who returned free in 2015, prompted the man to file a complaint through his lawyer Alessio Pomponi.

“The dramatic personal and procedural story that involved me and which, after years and a tiring and painful personal journey, is explicitly recalled, I managed to overcome “ Maso wrote in the complaint. For the complainant “the expressions used, referred and referable in a clear, direct and explicit way to the undersigned, appear objectively defamatory and they certainly cannot be traced back to the use of strong images belonging to the musical genre or to the artistic style of the authors, or to similar personal events ».

Furthermore, for Maso the “Freedom of expression and expression of one’s thoughts, also and above all in the present case, cannot be determined in such a way as to damage the honor of others, expected, there is more, that the story that has affected the undersigned, to date, assumes no interest in terms of actuality and historical relevance “. Meanwhile, after the attack on Matteo Salvini, Fedez remains at the center of attention due to the complaint to the president of Codacons Carlo Rienzi, who in a radio interview on 14 December had hinted that the singer and his wife Chiara Ferragni had taken some money to make their minor son wear designer shirts.
