Piraeus Chamber of Crafts requests extension of the e-book operation application (MY DATA)

The implementation of the e-book operation application (MY DATA) from 2023, in order to give time for the sufficient information of the companies and their uninterrupted operation in the extremely difficult period that we are going through, due to the pandemic, requested in a letter to the Minister of Finance President of B.E.P. Mr. George Papamanolis – Dozas.

Specifically in the letter it is mentioned:

“The Piraeus Chamber of Crafts always maintains a positive attitude towards any effort, through a constructive dialogue, which aims to find immediate solutions to any problem that arises for the smooth operation of our member companies. However, in the matter of the operation of e-books (myDATA), we have expressed our reservation as to whether it will be possible to respond to companies that, due to the deteriorating health status of the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdowns, were unable to prepare for their operation.

Our Chamber, because it considers that the obligatory transmission of data is impossible, after all it expires in 2021, conveying the anxiety and protests of its member companies, requests the extension of the application for one year, ie the mandatory application from 2023, in order to be given time to be validly informed and properly prepared.

Mr. Minister, because the priority at the moment is the protection of public health and the operation of the business in the best possible way in this extremely difficult environment, we believe that you will respond immediately to our request for the implementation of e-books after a time, hoping it will be the end of the pandemic. ”
