This Tuesday (8), the PIS (Social Integration Program) Salary Allowance for the 2022 base year calendar begins to be released by Caixa Econômica Federal.
The amount can already be withdrawn by workers born in January. While on Thursday (10), those born in February will be able to carry out the rescue.
The Salary Allowance is equivalent to the value of, at most, one minimum wage. To be entitled to it, the worker must meet some criteria established by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
Check the calendar for the base year 2022:
Who is entitled to the Salary Allowance
To be entitled to the allowance, the worker must have been registered with PIS for at least five years, in addition to having received an average monthly salary of up to two minimum wages during the base year.
The citizen must also have exercised remunerated activity for a Legal Entity, for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year considered for calculation.
The employer (Legal Entity) must provide the employee’s information correctly in the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS)/eSocial.
What is the salary bonus
Caixa informs that, according to Law 13.134/15, the Salary Allowance has a value proportional to the length of service of the worker in the base year in question.
Therefore, the calculation corresponds to the number of months worked in the base year multiplied by 1/12 of the minimum wage in force on the date of payment.
For this, the worker must have worked for at least 30 days with a formal contract from a company in the base year, a basic requirement to be entitled to the money.
how to get the money
The worker can receive the money by crediting an account at Caixa, either in the current account, as in the savings or digital account.
He can also request payment through the Caixa Tem application, or at ATMs, lottery houses and at Caixa Aqui Correspondents, using the Social Card and password.
It is important to note that, if the citizen chooses to go to a Caixa establishment, he must bring an official document that proves his identification.
