As of this Sunday (5), consultations on amounts receivable and PIS/PASEP payment dates for the base year 2021 are already available. The data can be checked in the Digital Work Card and on the gov.br portal.
Payments will begin to be made from February 15th.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Employment, 22.9 million workers are entitled to receive the benefit, with 20.4 million entitled to PIS (Social Integration Program) – paid by Caixa – and another 2.5 million entitled to the PASEP (Public Servant Asset Formation Program) – paid by the bank of Brazil – totaling an approximate expenditure of R$ 22 billion reais.
The value of the Salary Bonus varies from R$ 108.50 to R$ 1,302.00 according to the number of months worked during the base year 2021.
Who has the right?
Workers who meet the qualification criteria are entitled to the Salary Allowance, such as being registered with the PIS/PASEP for at least five years, counted from the date of the first employment; having received, from employers that contribute to the Social Integration Program (PIS) or to the Civil Servant Asset Training Program (PASEP), up to 2 (two) average monthly minimum wages in the period worked.
Must have performed paid activity for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year considered for calculation; have your data, from the base year 2021, correctly informed by the employer in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or in eSocial.
CASH payment
Payment of the Salary Allowance at Caixa will be made primarily by crediting a CAIXA account, when the worker has a checking or savings account or a Digital Account; by credit through the CAIXA Tem app, in a digital social savings account, opened automatically by CAIXA.
Payment will also be made through channels such as branches, lottery outlets, self-service, CAIXA Aqui and other payment channels offered by Caixa.
Payment at Banco do Brasil
At Banco do Brasil, payment will be made primarily as a credit to a bank account; transfer via TED or in person at service agencies.

To consult the Digital Work Card application, the worker will need to update the application, then access the “Benefits” and “Wage Allowance” tab, to check the value, day and bank of receipt.
