Pixolor – live pipette 1.4.15

Pixolor – a very useful application for designers and those who work with graphics. The program allows you to recognize and save any color that is on the screen of your smartphone or tablet. Pixolor adds a special “floating” window on top of all applications, which enlarges the picture, recognizes the color at a certain point and saves it to the library.

Pixolor stores data such as color code (RGB) and coordinates (DIP). Among other things, the application has a screenshot function of the enlarged area. From the resulting image, you can later generate a color palette and share it with someone. Also in Pixolor colors from “material” design are “correctly” supported.

Application advantages:

  • You can find out the color code (RGB) and coordinates (DIP) of any pixel on the screen
  • You can find out the size (in DIP) of any part of the screen – until you release the ring, you will see how far in x / y you dragged it
  • For an in-focus color, you can find out the closest Material Design color to it.
  • You can study the location of the pixels
  • You can transfer a screenshot or an image inside the ring to another application (for example, send it by email) – by long pressing on the screenshot thumbnail
  • You can enlarge hard-to-read text. This is very convenient for those who have not too perfect eyesight.
  • you can generate a color palette for the last screenshot or for the last enlarged area inside the ring
  • You can transfer the cut out section of the screen – move the center of the “floating” ring to one corner of the section, then drag it to the opposite corner. On the main screen of the application, you will see a thumbnail of the cut out area. To transfer an image, simply long press on the thumbnail!

Other features:

  • Pinch Zoom
  • Precise panning with two fingers (then, in the process, one finger can be removed)
  • To copy the RGB color code to the clipboard, click next to the ring (lower left or upper right)
  • Selecting a color using the Color Wheel
  • With the help of a notification, you can: hide/show the “floating” ring; terminate the application; pass the last received color code to other applications
