One of the biggest habits of social media users is sharing what they are listening to. And with that in mind, student Darren Huang created a tool called “Spotify Pie”, which allows you to share a chart with the most played songs on Spotify in the last month.
Spotify Pie analyzes your music taste on the platform and organizes it into a pie chart, which you can share. Each slice shows one of the genres you’ve listened to the most in the last month.
The novelty not only reveals the most listened to musical styles, but a list of artists that don’t leave your repeat. In addition, the site shows a number of “sub-genres”.
To share your “pizza” with your friends, simply access the student website “https://huangdarren1106.github.io/” and authorize the data collection to be done on your Spotify account.
It is worth remembering that this is not a Spotify app, like Spotify Wrapped — a tool used in the year-end retrospective in 2021.
The site also does not allow instant sharing on social networks, it is necessary to download the image so that it can be shared later.
Twitter users have been sharing their pizzas for the past few days and of course, commenting on their friends’ music tastes and questioning the subgenres shown in their own charts.
