Two people were pulled alive from the wreckage of the train, An-26 military aircraft that crashed in Almaty, Kazakhstan, according to the health services of this city.
The plane belonged to the Kazakhstan Border Guard, which reports to the country’s National Security Committee. A total of 6 people were on board and the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that four of the passengers were dead.
Photos and videos from the crash site show the plane overturned, caught fire and dense smoke, visible from a nearby highway, soaring into the sky.
The causes of the accident remain unclear.
