The crash of a single-engine plane in the interior of Minas Gerais left seven people dead last Sunday morning (28). The accident, involving a PA-46-350P turboprop, manufactured in 1996 by the American company Piper Aircraft, occurred in the city of Itapeva, located in the south of the state and approximately 460 kilometers from Belo Horizonte.
According to records from the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the aircraft was registered in the name of the company IT's Soluções LTDA, whose trade name was Credfranco. The company was founded by Marcilio Franco da Silveira and had businessman André Rodrigues do Amaral as a partner. Both were on the flight and died.
The aircraft was piloted by Geberson Henrique Tadeu Chagas Pereira. The co-pilot was Gabriel de Almeida Quintão Araújo.

Marcilio Silveira Franco
He was a businessman and founded, in 2003, the company Credfranco, based in Belo Horizonte (MG). On its official website, the company describes itself as “one of the largest promoters in Brazil” and “correspondent for the main banks”.
Marcílio was president of the National Association of Bank Correspondent Companies (Anec).
In addition to working in the financial market, he owned Haras Cigano.

André Rodrigues do Amaral
Businessman André Rodrigues do Amaral joined Credfranco as a partner in 2004, one year after the company was created. Credfranco's official page describes him as “analytical, with great negotiation and people management skills.
Amaral was also a member of the board of Anec, where he held the position of administrative advisor.

After the accident, the association issued a note of condolence for the deaths of Marcilio and André.
Raquel Souza Neves Silveira
She was Marcilio's wife. According to her profile on a social network, she had a degree in veterinary medicine and had experience in the areas of planning, purchasing and commercial development of products in the consumer goods and veterinary segments.
Since 2020, she has worked as manager of the company Cigano Agro & Negócios. Previously, she worked in the pharmaceutical market.

Antonio Neves Silveira
He was 2 years old. He was the son of Marcilio and Raquel.

Fernanda Luisa Costa Amaral
She was André's wife. According to her profile on a social network, she had an MBA in people management with an emphasis on organizational leadership.
He worked for around 12 years at a large credit union, a job he left approximately a month ago.

Geberson Henrique Tadeu Chagas Pereira
He was the pilot of the aircraft. The circumstances that led to the accident are not yet known.

Gabriel de Almeida Quintão Araújo
He was the co-pilot of the crashed plane. According to his profile on a social network, Gabriel completed the private airline pilot course in 2019.
In 2020, he completed the professional aircraft piloting course and, in 2023, the commercial airline pilot course. Gabriel had several licenses and certifications in the field of civil aviation.
