The six survivors of the plane crash that occurred this Monday (18) continue to be admitted to the Emergency Room of White River at the Acre . According to the State Health Department, three victims are in serious condition and three others are stable.
According to the hospital, the three patients considered most seriously ill were Suani Camelo, 30 years old; Valdir Roney de Souza Mendes, 59 years old; and pilot of the plane; and Amélia Cristina Rocha, 28 years old, are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Survivors in serious condition underwent debridement surgeries, that is, removal of non-viable tissue from the wounds. Patients Bruno Fernando dos Santos, aged 36, and Mateus Jeferson Fonte, aged 26, are stable and will continue to be monitored in the unit's infirmary.
Another survivor, Delisiane Salomão Calisto, 15 years old, with a less serious condition, continues to be cared for at the Manoel Urbano Mixed Unit.
The injured were transferred from Manoel Urbano, where the aircraft crashed, to the emergency room in the state capital on Monday afternoon (18).
The fall
The plane crashed about a kilometer from the Manoel Urbano runway threshold. Seven people were on the aircraft, which was destined for the city of Santa Rosa do Purus. The accident left Peruvian businessman, Sidney Estuardo Hoyle Vega, dead and six others injured.
The aircraft, registered PT-JUN, had its airworthiness certificate cancelled, according to the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry.
Brazil has already recorded 54 incidents of air accidents, according to the Aviation Safety Network (ASN) website, run by the Flight Safety Foundation, an international organization dedicated to aviation safety.
