Tuesday's storms (28) caused hail, rain and destructive winds, including gusts of up to 153 kilometers per hour in the northern metropolitan region of Texas, in the United States, and neighboring areas.

American Airlines said in a statement that several of its aircraft were affected by strong winds at the airport.

“Severe weather, including straight-line wind gusts of up to 80 mph (128 km/h), at our Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) hub affected several parked unoccupied aircraft. There were no injuries. Our maintenance team is currently conducting full inspections and will make any necessary repairs. ” said the airline.

Reuters was able to independently verify the location and date of the images by checking flight tracking information and weather conditions from government reports.

Reuters also confirmed the location and date with the American Airlines media contact.
