Two planes collided while taxiing at Congonhas Airport, this Tuesday morning (3). One of the planes, from Latam, would go from São Paulo to Brasília.
So far, there is no information about injuries.
In a video, obtained by CNN it is possible to hear the captain of flight Latam 3004 informing passengers about the collision with another aircraft:
“Unfortunately during our taxi, there was initially a collision with another aircraft that was beginning to push back for departure. I inform you that, due to our safety, we will have to return to the position to check the aircraft, I appreciate everyone’s collaboration. This aircraft, due to what happened, is not in a position to continue the flight, but as the company informed, it already has another aircraft available to continue the flight and they are just waiting for that aircraft to be positioned to board that aircraft. I thank everyone for understanding”, said the pilot to the passengers.
THE CNN contacted Latam and Aena, the concessionaire responsible for Congonhas Airport, and is awaiting a response.
