Back in June 2021, PlayStation Japan tweeted that Bluepoint Games, which created the remakes of Demon’s Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, is now part of PlayStation Studios. This tweet was quickly deleted, but Sony officially announced the acquisition of the developer this week.
Today, I’m thrilled to announce that PlayStation Studios has grown again with the addition of longtime partner Bluepoint Games. Bluepoint has established itself as the highest quality remasters and remakes, including Demon’s Souls, Shadow of the Colossus, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

Bluepoint Games is currently working on the original game, but no details have been released.
