The singer Ney Matogrosso, 83, visited the shed of Empress Leopoldinense in the city of Samba, in the port area of ​​Rio de Janeiro, on Tuesday (20). The artist will be honored by the association in the plot of the carnival of 2026.

During the visit, Ney took pictures with Carnival Leandro Vieira, President Catia Drumond and Vice President João Felipe Drumond. He also heard Mestre Lolo, who commands the school drums, and the interpreter Pitty de Menezes.

“Chameleonic” is the title of the plot of Empress Leopoldinense will be the fifth plot developed by Leandro Vieira at Empress Leopoldinense. The Ramos School will be the second samba school to parade on Carnival Sunday (15) and will look for its tenth title of the carioca revelry.
