Plus, formerly known as Plus.ai, has announced that it is using the Nvidia Drive Orin SoC for the next generation of its autonomous truck driving system. In 2022, the company plans to deploy this next generation system in the United States, China and Europe.
Plus will start series production of the autonomous driving system for heavy trucks this year, with plans to expand its feature set and range over time with software updates over the air. The Nvidia Orin single-chip system was selected for its high performance and support for complex neural networks for processing and decision making.
