Anti-oruam law
The councilwoman of São Paulo, Amanda Vettorazzo (União Brasil), presented a bill that aims to prohibit the city to hire artists who make “apology for organized crime, drug trafficking and the use of narcotics”.
If approved, the project will prevent artists such as Oruam will perform at events funded by the São Paulo City Hall, such as Virada Cultural.
Oruam’s mother, in turn, criticized the “obsession” with her son. She stated that the rapper has made a different path from her father and that persecution only generates more revolt in a young man who grew up orphaned by father.
Rapper Oruam, on his social networks criticized the proposal: “Wow, do you want to be there? It will prohibit the cr*lho, put. You don’t even have the strength for it. Babona. I have never seen a person study to speak Merd*. Only you do not say my name, otherwise you will know the devil. ”
Given the situation, Councilwoman Amanda Vettorazzo filed a police report against the singer. The parliamentarian claims that the threats made by the artist surround her duty as a councilwoman to propose bills and defend her convictions.
“I won’t back down. The bill is in the House and we will continue. They won’t shut us up, ”he said.
