In the video, which went viral on social media, it is possible to see the agents holding the man, identified as César, by the neck against the property's gate, spraying pepper spray in his face and forcing the resident's legs open. See the video below .
Paraná state deputy Renato Freitas (PT) shared the video on his social networks and said that, according to a complaint received, César had received an undue charge for rent, which had already been paid, and was threatened with a knife by the owner's ex-husband. of the residence. He then decided to call the Military Police.
“With the arrival of the police, the victim becomes a criminal. Attacked by the police, despite being defended by the owner of the house, who claims to have received the amount for rent”, said Freitas on his Instagram.
