Pocah speaks out after being booed alongside Larissa Manoela at an RBD show

Singer Pocah spoke out today (10), after being booed alongside actresses Larissa Manoela and Bruna Griphao, at the show by the Mexican band RBD, held last Thursday (09), in Rio de Janeiro.

On their social networks, the artists published several moments during the performance, where they were very close to the stage, in a VIP area.

This greatly displeased the band’s fans, who began to boo as soon as the three celebrities passed by them, located on the dance floor, behind the fence.

On social media, moments were shared of fans who felt ill before the show due to the high temperatures in Rio de Janeiro. They waited for hours in line in temperatures of up to 37ºC, to secure a good spot close to the stage.

Singer Pocah spoke about the compliments she received alongside the actresses.

“I wasn’t even going to say anything because anyone who follows me here knows how much of a fan I am of RBD. Nothing new! When RBD came to Brazil in 2006, I heard from my mother that either I would go to the show or we would eat. That was my reality!” she stated.

“But I didn’t stop dreaming and I fought hard for today, being 18 years old as a fan of the band, my work brought me the chance to have this ‘privilege’ of being invited to watch the show up close (and who would pass it up?) and it’s That’s it, the show was beautiful! I made a dream come true and I will carry yesterday with me forever”, declared the singer.

In response, many fans supported singer Pocah’s attitude. “People talk, but if they had the same opportunity they wouldn’t think twice,” they said. They also recalled when the singer met one of the band members, Maite Perroni, on the SBT program “Domingo Legal”, in 2013.

Others did not agree with the attitude of the celebrities, and gave the example of Canadian singer Avril Lavigne. “Avril didn’t give any celebrity this taste, anyone who wanted to watch the show had to buy a ticket like everyone else. I thought that was really cool. She said it would be disrespectful to her fans”, they recalled.
