Many remember well the very first smartphone of the POCO brand – POCO F1, which made a lot of noise by challenging high and mid-range devices. At that time, he offered the flagship Snapdragon 845 platform at an affordable price. Since then, several smartphones have appeared in the company’s arsenal, but this success has not been repeated. Today, on March 22, the Xiaomi-owned brand presented two more new products – POCO X3 Pro and POCO F3.
POCO X3 Pro
Last year’s POCO X3 turned out to be a very balanced smartphone, offering a 120Hz display and other decent specs at a great price. POCO X3 Pro is a more advanced version of the device, which can already be attributed to sub-flags. In its appearance there are no differences from the base model, but there are more significant changes under the hood. This is the first smartphone to feature the all-new Snapdragon 860 chipset, which is nothing more than a modified version of the Snapdragon 855 / 855+. This means the POCO X3 Pro will perform about the same (or slightly better) than the 2019 flagships.
High refresh rate displays have become common in mid-range smartphones and this device is no exception. The POCO X3 Pro has a 120Hz panel, and when paired with the Snapdragon 860 and UFS 3.1 memory, it should deliver good performance. The autonomy of the novelty is also all right: the 5160 mAh battery supports 33 W fast charging, which allows you to charge the smartphone in about an hour.
Specifications POCO X3 Pro:
The POCO X3 Pro is surprisingly cheaper than the POCO X3 NFC. The European price of the smartphone starts at 249 euros for the version with 6/128 GB memory. For the model with 8/256 GB of memory, you will have to pay 299 euros. The device will go on sale on March 24th.
LITTLE F3
This model is a renamed version of Xiaomi Redmi K40, adapted for the international market. It has the same design and characteristics, which means that the POCO F3 is currently the most powerful device of the brand. The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 chipset. This is not the flagship Snapdragon 888, but it supports 5G, and the Kryo 585 cores in it operate at a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz.

The display in the POCO F3 also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. True, instead of IPS, an AMOLED matrix is installed here, and the frequency of the sensor layer reaches 360 Hz. The battery capacity is slightly less than that of the POCO X3 Pro, as is the main camera, which consists of three sensors. Other characteristics of the two new products are identical.
Specifications POCO F3:
The cost of the device starts at 349 euros for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In a memory configuration of 8/256 GB, the novelty will cost 399 euros. The smartphone will go on sale on March 27th.
