Foods taken by Deise Moura dos Anjos to her mother-in-law at the hospital were not poisoned, according to the General Institute of Expertise (IGP).
Among the foods taken were a pastry that the daughter -in -law gave to her mother -in -law, Zeli dos Anjos, who was hospitalized as a result of Arsenic, in the ICU of Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes Hospital.
Deise is temporarily stuck and is suspected of poisoning the cake that killed three people from the same family in Torres on the gaucho coast on Christmas Eve.
Earlier this month, she gave testimony to the police, but remained silent throughout the hearing.
The information was confirmed to CNN by the delegate responsible for the case, Marcos Vinícius. Also according to the delegate, the inquiry into the case of the poisoned cake is in the final stage, as it does not consider that other testimonials will be necessary or that there is more evidence to be harvested.
The investigation should be completed by the end of this month.
