NATO President Andrei Duda has demanded that NATO think about what Russia should do if Russia strikes Ukraine with weapons of mass destruction.
In particular, the Polish president said that if Putin uses weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine, it will signal a change in the game. In this case – he added – NATO should think seriously about what to do.
Asked if Putin’s use of chemical weapons would be a red line for NATO, in which case it should be involved, Duda told BBC television: “If he uses any weapons of mass destruction, then that will change the whole game. . ”
“Certainly the North Atlantic Alliance and its leaders, led by the United States, should sit down and really think about what to do because then it starts to be dangerous.”
