Poland’s largest gas company PGNiG announced this morning that it had started supplying gas to ten different cities and regions across the country, as it had been shut down in the previous days of the week.
PGNiG announced yesterday that its subsidiaries, Polska Spolka Gazownictwa and PGNiG Obrot Detaliczny, would resume gas supplies to their customers and in areas affected by the outage by Russian company Novatek Green Energy.
On Thursday, several cities in Poland were left without gas, as the Russian gas supplier was included in the implementation of sanctions against Moscow.
“We have good news for Lemba residents and tourists visiting the town for the May Day weekend. The gas provided by #PGNiG is already available to customers in this coastal community. As in nine other areas where “Provided by Novatek,” the company said in a Twitter post early this morning.
