US government officials say that based on the first information they have received, the missile that fell yesterday Tuesday in a village in southeastern Poland, killing two people it was anti-aircraft and was launched by the Ukrainian armed forces to shoot down an incoming Russian missilean Associated Press reporter reported via Twitter.
Earlier today, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, had stated that the USA and their allies in NATO conduct research on explosion in Poland yesterday Tuesday (15/11) which resulted in the loss of two people’s liveshowever initial reports indicate that it may not have been due to a missile launched by the Russia.
Mr. Biden made this statement after the extraordinary meeting of the leaders of the G7, the EU and other states in Bali, Indonesia to be discussed the explosions which Poland claimed were caused by Russian-made missiles.
Asked about the estimates that the explosions were due to Russian missiles, the American president said that “There is preliminary information that calls this into question. I don’t want to say it before we’ve completed the investigation, but it’s unlikely, from the trajectory, that (the missile) was launched from Russia – we’ll see though.”.
