Polestar unveiled a new electric vehicle, not an electric vehicle, but a transport cart used to move goods. The project, dubbed Re: Move, started out as a concept development but eventually evolved into a working prototype at the IAA Mobility in Munich.
The transporter is designed for cycling (approx. 75 cm wide). It is capable of carrying loads weighing up to 180 kg, accelerating up to 25 km / h. The power source is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 2.2 kWh.
The aluminum chassis includes an electrically operated tilt mechanism that allows you to tilt into corners for increased maneuverability and a narrower turning radius. The chassis is complemented by composite panels. The transporter is equipped with lighting devices, including brake lights, and a horn that helps when driving in pedestrian traffic.
Whether the prototype will be brought to the stage of a serial product is still unknown.
As a reminder, Polestar is a Swedish automaker founded by the Volvo Group and Geely Holding. He specializes in zero emission vehicles. To date, the company has presented two models of electric vehicles.
