Civil police officers from the 59th DP (Duque de Caxias) arrested 15 people red-handed, in the Jardim Gramacho neighborhood, in Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense In the action, which took place on Monday (25), the agents also located a car dismantling stolen.
According to the corporation, parts from five vehicles and other accessories that had been stolen were found at the scene. The teams identified the dismantling after intelligence work by the Civil Police.
Investigations revealed that the parts found at the dismantling site were from cars stolen between November 4th and 20th, 2024. Part of the robberies were carried out by criminals from Complexo do Chapadão. The vehicles were taken weekly by truck to the yard, where their parts were extracted.
The place was closed and the group was taken to the police station and then to the prison system. The Civil Police reported that investigations will continue to identify the origin of other parts located at the dismantling site and possible new people involved in the criminal scheme.
