Another suspect of participating in the execution of Vinicius Gritzbach was arrested on Monday night (9). According to an investigation by the CNN, Matheus de Augusto de Castro Mota was arrested in Praia Grande and taken to the State Department of Criminal Investigations (DHPP), in São Paulo.
Matheus de Augusto had already been identified by the police previously and had an open arrest warrant.
The suspect is named by the police as one of the financiers of the operation that ended in the cinematographic death of Gritzbach, who died after being shot with a rifle, a week after giving a statement to the Civil Police Internal Affairs, where he denounced an alleged involvement between police officers and organized crime.
The investigation showed that his car was caught on security cameras in the airport area moments before the crime. He would also have provided vehicles for the executioners to escape.
Gritzbach, considered a whistleblower for the First Command of the Capital (PCC), was killed on November 8, at Guarulhos international airport.
In addition to Matheus de Augusto, on the 7th, the police arrested a man, identified as “Marcos”, who would have helped in the escape of the scout who warned the executioners that the PCC whistleblower businessman had disembarked .
