The Court issued arrest and search and seizure warrants “against a criminal group involved in drug trafficking and several homicides in a region of Salvador”, reported the Civil Police.
“This group is responsible for more than 30 homicides. It is an operation resulting from the investigative work of more than a year carried out by DHPP teams”, said delegate Andréa Ribeiro, in a statement released to the press.
According to the police, during the execution of warrants in the Águas Claras neighborhood, in Salvador, two suspects “resisted arrest by confronting the police, they were helped, but did not resist”.
“We are on the streets, we have already achieved a great result, but the operation does not have time to end”, said the delegate.
