The marked operation was triggered by the Goiás Civil Police, with the support of the police of Ceará, Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Paraíba and Pernambuco, where judicial measures were also enforced.
In all, the operation served seven temporary arrest warrants and nine search and seizure warrants.
The scheme would have moved about $ 11 million, including through sports betting platforms. According to the investigators, a hierarchical structure of the criminal group was identified, with financiers, intermediaries and executors, among them, players, coaches and leaders of the operational clubs of the operation.
