The Civil Police of Espírito Santo arrested, on Monday afternoon (10), a man suspected of having stoned a lawyer on Rodovia do Sol, in Vila Velha, on Saturday (8).
According to the authorities, the suspect is a drug addict, is homeless, and is known to circulate around the crime scene. He uses an electronic anklet for committing crimes such as rape, robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to witnesses, the arrested man would have thrown a paving stone towards the car the lawyer was in.
The victim of the stoning, identified as Michaella Zukowski, remains hospitalized this Monday (11). In a video posted on social networks, she said that she will have to undergo surgery to reconstruct the bones of her face.
“I’m going to have another surgery because I’m going to have to rebuild the bones in my face. We are waiting for the release of the health plan that has not been released so far and, God willing, it will be released soon”, said Michaella in an excerpt from the publication.
