Police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of killing a 15-year-old teenager who was shot near the school where he studied, in Fortaleza (CE). The crime occurred last Monday (9).
According to police, the man was captured in the Barroso neighborhood, where the crime took place.
There is still no information about the dynamics of what happened. The Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense reported that the Civil Police are investigating the circumstances of the crime.
The investigations into the student’s death are being carried out by the 3rd Police Station of the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP).
The Municipal Department of Education spoke out about the case and said that it “deeply regrets the murder of the student from the Municipal Education Network”.
Due to the student’s death, classes at the unit where the victim studied were suspended and resumed last Tuesday (10).
