Police arrested a 41-year-old man, accused of raping his two nieces with Down syndrome, in Dourados, 251 kilometers from Campo Grande, last Wednesday (11).
According to investigations, the man committed the crime in Itaúba (MT), where he took advantage of the trust to take the girls to vacant lots and committed the abuse during the journey to church.
The man was arrested in Dourados, after the Judiciary Police requested preventive detention, he fled the city and was found in Dourados.
The arrest was made by police officers from the General Investigations Section and the Regional Investigation Unit of the Civil Police.
