Last Tuesday (28), the Civil Police arrested the paternal aunts of the child who was forcibly taken from her grandmother's arms by her maternal mother in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, on April 23.
According to the Civil Police, the suspects were in contact with the child's mother and assisted in the kidnapping. The two had been summoned to provide clarification on the case, but they did not appear and did not explain the reason for their absence.
The child's mother also had her arrest ordered for false imprisonment and abduction of an incapacitated person. However, both she and the child have not yet been located.
Remember the case
The child's mother forcibly took her son from his paternal grandmother and fled with the boy on the morning of April 23. The father and paternal grandmother have custody of the boy.
Eduardo Cassiano, the boy's father, filed a police report against the child's mother. He had already filed a complaint against her for threats, attacks and persecution against his mother.
The moment the child was kidnapped was recorded on video by a neighbor.
