Twin brothers were arrested, early this Wednesday afternoon (22), for the kidnapping and extortion of an influencer, in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro.
According to information from the Civil Police (PCERJ), Vandressa Verônica Sabino Santos, known on social media as India Marley, was leaving a photo shoot at a hotel, in Joá, in a car requested via an app and was approached by two men dressed as police officers. in a white car.
The criminals carried firearms and drove the victim, along with a friend who was also present in the vehicle, towards Barra da Tijuca.
The Anti-Kidnapping Police Station (DAS) was called and, upon receiving the first information and images, they began police action with the aim of rescuing the influencer, who was located in a motel, in Jacarepaguá, where, in less than two hours of action , the victims were successfully rescued.
“Thank you for making me born again. Seeing you in that room, I saw Jesus Christ”, published the influencer in gratitude to the agents on her Instagram page.
The delegate in charge of the case, William Pena Júnior, confirmed that the kidnappers were identified as Vilmar Rodrigues de Oliveira and Vilson Rodrigues de Olivais, twin brothers already wanted by the police station and with an arrest warrant issued against them.
According to the delegate, two 9mm pistols, five chargers, ammunition, tactical clothing, badges, cell phones and the vehicle used in the criminal action were seized from the criminals.
