Police ask for recordings and hear witnesses after the death of a young man in Hebrew

The Civil Police of São Paulo requested recordings and heard witnesses, this Monday (6), of the case where a 14-year-old teenager died, last Friday night (3), after a goal post fell on his body, at Clube Hebraica, in Pinheiros, in the west zone of São Paulo.

The case is being investigated as a suspicious death by the 15th Police District. The result of the expert reports is still awaited to clarify the facts.

According to the Public Security Secretariat of São Paulo (SSP-SP), the accident happened after he had hung on the goal post.

According to the agency’s note, the teenager was rescued at the Hospital das Clínicas, but did not resist. The case was registered as a suspicious death by the 14th Police District (Pinheiros), which asked for an expert opinion.

By means of a note, Clube Hebraica reported that the boy was promptly attended to at the scene and taken to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). Initially, he would go to the Samaritan Hospital and the transport doctor decided to go to the Clinics to advance the care.

“There he suffered a cardiac arrest, underwent procedures, but did not resist”, says the note. A doctor from the club accompanied the care and informed the family about the event.

The club reaffirmed in the note that the teenager hung on the beam before it fell on his body. “The court was banned and the entire agenda of events on site was suspended”, added the club.
