The Police identified two women suspected of doping two foreign tourists in a bar in Lapa, central area of Rio de Janeiro. The case happened last Sunday (3) and the arrest of the two has already been requested by the authorities.
According to delegate Danielle Bullus, from the Special Tourism Support Office, the Norwegian and German foreigners met the two women in a bar and took them both to an apartment located in Ipanema, which belongs to the Norwegian tourist, who lives in the city.
The victims told police they believe they were drugged by the suspects.
According to the information, the women took various belongings such as computers, cell phones and cards that belonged to the victims.
The delegate reported that the doorman was suspicious of the action and notified the property manager, who called the Military Police and went to the apartment where they had to break down the door, as both did not open it or respond to the calls.
