The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro seized this Saturday (19) false documents and electronic equipment that were being used to falsify tickets for the game between Vasco and Atlético Mineiro. A suspect was taken to the police station for questioning.
The action by the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police’s Computer Crimes Repression Department in conjunction with the State Public Prosecutor’s Office was carried out as part of an operation against the illegal sale of tickets. The game between Vasco and Galo is this Saturday (19), at 6:30 pm, in São Januário for the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil.
In total, five search and seizure warrants were carried out at the addresses of three targets, holders of telephone lines used to negotiate tickets, advertised on social media at prices higher than those offered for sale to the general public.
