The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro should collect, this Thursday (15), two more testimonies about the alleged attack on actor Thiago Rodrigues. The expectation is that a friend who was with the artist before the incident and also the taxi driver who took Rodrigues after he was injured will be heard.
Delegate Bianca Rodrigues Xavier Lima de Vasconcelos, from the 15th Police Station in Gávea, responsible for the case, works with three hypotheses: robbery followed by beating, the actor falling or even the possibility that he was involved in a fight.
Until the afternoon of this Wednesday (14), Thiago Rodrigues had not yet attended the Legal Medical Institute for the corpus delicti examination.
The Civil Police awaits the examination report, as well as images from security cameras positioned in front of the point where the actor was found injured.
The actor was injured last Saturday night (10), in the Baixo Gávea region, south of Rio de Janeiro. Initially, the version that circulated about the case was that Rodrigues would have been attacked by five men during a robbery in which he lost his cell phone.
The attack would have left him unconscious, only waking up the next day after being helped by a person. With a head injury, he was admitted to the Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital, where he underwent sutures and was later released.
This Tuesday (13), Thiago Rodrigues went to the police station to give a statement. THE CNN sought the actor’s press office, which stated that, “in principle”, he “will not comment until the investigations are finished”.
The day before, the representatives informed that he was fine, but would rest before making any statement.
