The civil police found, this Thursday (10), an artificial lake and a fully equipped gym in the luxurious house of drug dealer Álvaro Malaquias Santa Rosa, known as “Peixão”, identified as the leader of drug trafficking in the Israel Complex, in north zone of Rio. See images below.
The agents went to the location to comply with warrants issued by the Court, but Peixão was not located. They came across a mansion built in one of the communities of the Israel Complex, which encompasses Vigário Geral, Parada de Lucas, Cidade Alta, Cinco Bocas and Pica-Pau.
Peixão is one of the targets of Operation Exodus, launched with the aim of arresting members of a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking.
In total, 15 arrest warrants and eight search and seizure warrants were issued. Until the publication of this report, eight people had been arrested. Four of them in compliance with the warrants and another four in the act.
According to police, the suspects already had outstanding arrest warrants and were hiding in a motel in the region.
Peixão is considered a fugitive. He is identified by the police as a highly violent and cruel criminal. According to agents involved in this Thursday’s action (10), his characteristic is to torture his enemies before killing them.
Álvaro Malaquias Santa Rosa is also appointed head of the Third Comando Puro (TCP) faction. He even chose the name “Israel Complex”.
According to investigations, the drug trafficker ordered the Star of David, a Jewish symbol, to be spread throughout the Complexo communities.
Agents from the General Department of Specialized Police (DGPE), General Department of Police of the Capital (DGPC), General Department of Police of Baixada (DGPB), General Department of Interior Police (DGPI), Undersecretariat of Intelligence (SSINTE ) and the Special Resources Coordination (Core) participate in the action.
