The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro announced, this Sunday (15), that they had identified the person responsible for the shooting that hit Gastón Burlón, former Secretary of Tourism of Bariloche, Argentina.
Burlón mistakenly entered one of the locations in the Rio Comprido neighborhood, in the Escondidinho community, in Rio de Janeiro, last Thursday afternoon (12). Admitted to the Souza Aguiar Municipal Hospital, his health condition is very serious, according to the Health Department.
According to police, the suspect was identified as Sandro da Silva Vicente. A resident of the Prazeres community, he was recognized by witnesses.
The alleged author has more than 20 criminal records.
In addition to the request for Vicente’s arrest, authorities requested the arrest of three more members of the criminal group that operates in the region where the crime took place.
The case remains under investigation to identify the others involved.
