The Civil Police investigates the causes of the accident that resulted in the Death of two family members of soccer coach Mano Menezes : The stepchildren of his daughter, Maria Sophia Dumoncel, 16, and Arthur Dumoncel, 9, on BR-293, in Santana do Livramento, Rio Grande do Sul, last Friday (16).
Among the fatalities is also a 42 -year -old man, identified as Maurício Moraes. Additional information indicates that, in addition to the deaths at the scene, a fourth victim died in the hospital.
Police delegate Laurence de Moraes Teixeira, director of the 12th Interior Regional Police Station, stated in a press release that the causes of the accident are still being cleared.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the victims were in a Honda CR-V vehicle that left the track on BR-293, at km 303. The accident happened around 3:20 pm, according to the PRF. The car, with license plate of Dom Pedrito (RS), overturned and ended up in a forest area.
Two men were hospitalized and are in serious condition. A fifth victim was even rescued, But he did not resist and died in the hospital.
