The Mato Grosso Civil Police fulfill a search and seizure warrant on Friday (11) in Cuiabá against a 15-year-old investigated for disseminating hate speech and threats against women on social networks.
According to the investigations, the minor made misogynistic publications, with content indicating the intention of committing armed violence against women. In one of the threats, he would have declared the intention of attacking a girl of her personal conviviality, using weapons legally recorded on the behalf of her father.
The case gained urgency after a warning issued by the Cyber Operations Laboratory (Ciberlab), linked to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, which identified the severity of the contents shared by the adolescent.
The court authorized the home search warrant and also determined the suspension of the minor’s father’s arms records with the Federal Police. During the action, a cell phone, a computer, a pressure weapon and an airsoft were seized.
“Operation adolescence seeks not only to suppress criminal conduct in a digital environment, but also to act preventively to avoid advertised tragedies, especially those motivated by gender hatred,” said Deputy Guilherme Fachinelli.
