The Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) investigates the death of Edemilson de Azevedo Soares, 58, occurred on Saturday night (10), in Rio das Pedras, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Military police were fired after the report of a homicide in the region. Upon arriving at the scene, they found the victim’s body and isolated the area for the work of the expertise.
According to witness reports, Edemilson would have been shot during a confrontation involving traffickers and militiamen in the community.
According to the Civil Police, the authorship and motivation of the crime follow in calculation. Diligences are underway to identify those responsible and clarify the facts.
